We accept most items that are in good and working condition, including clothing, household goods, media, furniture, toys, etc. during our business hours.

Items that we do not accept include: waterbeds, mattresses, sofas, futons, entertainment centers, computers, cribs, carseats, baby walkers or exersaucers, large appliances, or baby clothing.

If you have unwanted items that can be reused, please consider donating them back into your community. We partner with the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago and offer a tax receipt and a thank you coupon for use within our store for your donations.

Thrift & Thrive is primarily stocked through generous donations from within the community, which allow us to offer others in our community quality goods at affordable prices. All of these goods are recycled and kept from the landfill. Donating with Thrift & Thrive strengthens our local economy and community, making our neighborhood a more desirable place to live. We work very hard to offer used goods that are clean and of the highest quality.

If you have a large amount of items or larger items to donate, we do offer a Pick Up service. We also offer Clean Out services.
